Day 4

OK folks, apologies for the late blog, internet access has been a pain lately... T mobile 3g sucks bigtime! if this were australia they would be down the tubes a long time ago! anyway...

5/2/13..Last full day in Los Angeles, which meant a big day fitting in some fun stuff...
we decided to finally give in to one of the half dozen or so celebrity hollywood tour operators hustling on hollywood boulevard, $40pp turned into $20pp and we were off into the cold foggy l.a morning, off into the hollywood hills and around the Beverly hills area

*click pics for larger view...*

Open top van + cold morning = freezing. As cheesy as the tour sounds it was worth the $ for a look around where the rich and famous live and play. Who knows if the celebs really live here?

Eddie murphy's crib.. apparently...

Julia roberts, not as fancy as i expected... Shes nicknamed the 'queen of the hill' in these parts for obvious reasons.

As pointed out by our guide, what looks like an oscar statue, 2nd window from the left... ?

J.T.. aka Justin Timberblake's crib... complete with friendly looking personal security gaurd collecting J.T's mail.

Johnny Depps very stunning mansion

Shaq's massive crib for he's massive frame

Michael Jackson's final mansion, reportedly rented for around $100k a month. It was very private

Jackie Chan's mansion, very nice, not so private tho

The exclusive and posh Rodeo Drive

Spotted some paparazzi stalking someone..

Lunch time, Pink's famous hotdogs, est. 73years ago. Aparently charlie chaplin used to walk down the road from the jim henson studios and buy hotdogs for lunch...

Pink's famous chilli dog, tastes as bad as it looks... which is delicious.

time for some action for the afternoon. After a couple hours public transport, through some not so nice parts down town l.a, we arrived at the los angeles gun club indoor shooting range. AR15 semi auto rifle with handle. and normally friendly looking manager in the background. Guns in the background are real...

Ruger .38"  Special revolver, no jamming!

AK47 with scope, big clip

Pump action shotgun, very powerful, almost unenjoyable to shoot. $1/round

Glock 9mm. not the best gun to try to shoot accurately, 50rounds $14.. lots of jamming..

1min crash course on how to reload and operate guns and we were off!...loading AK clip.. 20 rounds $14

I wasnt the only one having fun...

Zombie hunter for hire....

quick subway back to hollywood and we are greeted with yet another red carpet event. This time the premier for the movie 'Safe haven'. lots of security, limos and cameras..

zoomed in on the lead actor, joshua dunel.. didnt see fergie tho

That concludes an action packed day !
